Martha's Bikes has operated since 1991, and from this location since 1993, making it over 23+ years of business on the Island. Operating with more than 500 bicycles it is established and has the lion share of business on the island.
It's biggest strength is its five star location,as every vehicle that enters the island at the Vineyard Haven Steamship Authority drives 200 feet and has to stop at a stop sign and stare this building in the face before dispersing into the Island. The area is called Five Corners and is the busiest intersection on the Island.
The building is raised so that it is completely visible over traffic.
