Shakti Reynolds is one of our Senior Brokers at Wallace & Co. Sotheby's International Realty. A Vineyard resident since 1975, she has 30 years of experience in local real estate. She has been an award-winning top producer with a reputation for exceptional knowledge of the Island real estate market, dedicated personal service, and negotiating skills. Shakti is an alumna of Swarthmore College and Friends World College. Originally from South Hadley, Massachusetts, she has lived in Mexico, East Africa, India, and St. Croix, US Virgin Islands. In India, she studied at the International Montessori Institute, which inspired her to co-found the Vineyard Montessori School. For nearly 40 years, Shakti has resided in the Chilmark family home where she raised her two children. She has served on the Chilmark School Committee and as chair of the Chilmark/Up-Island School Building Committee. Her late husband, John Early, a prominent Island contractor and civic leader until his death in 2020, was involved in a wide range of community activities with her support.
